Cleanroom Technician
We are seeking dedicated Cleanroom Technicians. The positions are based in Building 1 and involve tasks in both the APR (Automatic Plates Room) and MPR (Manual Plates Room), where media is dispensed into petri dishes. The roles also extend to the TVS (Tubes) department, involving sorting, packaging, labeling, and palletizing.
Responsibilities:
- Handle petri dishes and media in the APR and MPR areas.
- Sort, package, label, and palletize in the TVS department.
- Perform repetitive lifting, twisting, and pushing of up to 30 lbs.
- Complete paperwork and perform basic math with a calculator.
- Engage in packing, quality assurance, production, and documentation of packaging procedures.

Work Environment:
The environment is climate-controlled with some areas emitting the smell of yeast or vinegar. Certain areas are loud, with earplugs provided, especially in the test tube area where glass tubes and bottles are handled. Team sizes are small, and you may work independently dress code requires safety shoes, jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts, with scrubs encouraged. Hair nets, safety glasses, and surgical face coverings are provided and required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $23.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
