Job Description
Bio Life Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and involves supporting plasma center operations. Tasks include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, notifying donors of unsuitable test results, and providing medical support under Center Physician directives. The position requires familiarity with plasma collection regulations and environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, provide AIDS education, and maintain confidential self-exclusion.
- Conduct medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis.
- Evaluate donor reactions; follow SOPs for medical emergencies and coordinate with Center Physician for standing orders and emergency transport.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on unacceptable findings.
- Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health and EHS guidance.
- Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized to investigate pandemic threats.
- High school diploma or recognized educational nursing program graduate.
- Licensed or certified in the state of assignment (LPN or LVN).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfillment of state basic IV therapy requirements.
- Completion of FDA-approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years clinical or hospital experience.

CompensationHourly wage range: $24.32 – $33.44. Actual wage will depend on qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
