Registered Nurse - Operating Room

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room (OR) / Perioperative Nurse to provide comprehensive surgical patient care.

This nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery.

The role involves functioning as both a Circulating Nurse and Scrub Nurse, collaborating closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Serve as both a Circulating Nurse and Scrub Nurse as needed, depending on the procedure and team requirements.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process, expectations, and recovery plans.
• Maintain sterile conditions and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Monitor patients' status and document all procedures accurately in medical records.

• Minimum of 24 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (BSN or ADN).

• Previous experience in an Operating Room or Perioperative nursing setting.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
