Travel LPN Long Term Care

Care Career is seeking a LPN / LVN for a travel job in Seward, Alaska.

Role: LTC LVN/LPN

Facility Type: Long-Term Care (40 beds)

Location: Alaska (facility appears tied to Providence Seward Mountain Haven requirements)

Shift Options:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Usually fixed days or nights (not rotating)

Schedule: 4x12s preferred, optional 3x12

You will NOT qualify unless you have:

• Active Alaska LPN/LVN license in hand
• Prior travel experience
• LTC experience
• BLS certification

• No locals (must live 50+ miles away)
• Floating required
• No block scheduling
• Must work at least 2 of 3 winter holidays
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
  • New Year’s
• RTO limits
  • 13 weeks → max 1 week
  • 26 weeks → max 2 weeks

They specifically want experience with:

• G-tubes / PEG feedings
• Accuchecks
• Wound care
• Nebulizers
• Foley insertions
• Phlebotomy
• Oxygen administration
• Dementia/geriatric care
• Rehab/SNF/LTC workflows

Housing in this area is noted as very limited
.

Vehicle details:

• Facility can provide rental vehicle
• Traveler must
  • Be at least 25 years old
  • Provide driver’s license
  • Provide proof of insurance
  • Have rental coverage on personal auto policy
• Vehicle restrictions:
  • Cannot leave 30-mile radius
  • Must return during time off
  • Fuel + cleaning required on return
