Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with current eligibility to practice.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; CNOR certification highly valued.
- Proficiency in the perioperative nursing process, with advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability in high-acuity situations.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout all phases of cardiovascular surgery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and promptly respond to dynamic intraoperative needs.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for coordinated patient care.
- Adhere to stringent infection control and safety protocols within the CVOR.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide thorough hand-offs post-procedure.
