Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health for our travel assignments, enhancing the well‑being of communities we serve by leveraging our vast network of facilities. Candidates will be instrumental in providing expert care and support to patients with behavioral health conditions, adapting swiftly to new environments and teams.

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with psychological and behavioral issues.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for both staff and patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tailor care plans specific to each patient’s needs.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Educate patients and families on management of their condition and wellness strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Profound clinical skills in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to adapt to varying healthcare settings and patient needs.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Capability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the U.S.
• CPR certified.
• Certified in Mental Health Nursing (preferred).
