Job Summary

Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and state practice standards. Working with medical providers and the care team, the RN applies nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage" to advocate for patients, families and caregivers and to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate interventions.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs and resolving them proactively.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into understandable language.
• Educate patients and families on non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes, preparing them for future self‑management.

• Registered Nurse (RN) diploma.
• Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS Instructor obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
