** Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating weekends
** Why This Role Matters*
* As a Problem Resolution Coordinator, you will play a key role in identifying, tracking, and resolving specimen-related issues that impact laboratory operations. Your efforts will help improve processes, ensure testing accuracy, and support timely reporting of patient results.
** What You'll Do*
* - Document and track daily laboratory issues to identify trends and recurring concerns
- Analyze data and monitor problem locations to support process improvement efforts
- Review Test in Question orders from physicians and investigate discrepancies
- Handle specimen retrieval, banking, add-on requests, and pending specimen lists
- Research, document, and communicate quality-related errors to leadership as needed
- Interpret specimen flow and tracking data using laboratory systems, reports, logs, and worklists
- Collaborate with Specimen Processing, Referral Testing, and Technical departments to resolve issues and expedite testing and reporting
- Assist with deferred specimen management and follow-up activities
** What We're Looking For*
* - A current, up-to-date resume
- Associate's degree required;
Bachelor's degree preferred
- Medical background preferred, including knowledge of clinical laboratory terminology
- Previous experience with data analysis and reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills with the ability to extract and analyze data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment under pressure
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work safely in a biohazard environment
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
