Job Summary:
An Associate Scientist is responsible for performing entry-level chemical testing to support raw material, in-process, stability, and finished product quality control. Effectively communicates work and results both orally and in writing.
Hourly Range: $23.45 - $32.95 (Final pay determined by experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities).

Responsibilities- Articulate work-related issues clearly and effectively to management and peers.
- Perform accurate routine chemical testing (FTIR, TLC, PM, UV-Vis) to meet departmental objectives.
- Document testing in compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Update and route SOPs, MOAs, specifications through Documentum, as delegated.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed for each project.
- Ensure documentation meets facility audit and cGMP/GLP requirements.
- Manage work and time based on departmental priorities using judgment and objective reasoning.
- Perform good housekeeping practices and follow safety-related policies.
- Make recommendations.
- Perform peer review of data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
