Position Overview
The Quality Reviewer position (K0238958) is responsible for performing quality control by reviewing eligibility actions completed by both the contractor and state, providing feedback in the form of coaching and corrections, and reporting policies and procedures that need focus and documenting quality progress.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct case reviews: complete all case review assignments; review eligibility cases based on established criteria; collect and compile quality data; enter into tracking system; assist in identifying areas requiring improvement, developing and recommending corrective actions, and preparing reports to communicate outcomes of quality activity.
- Provide input into training needs or interventions to meet quality standards.
- Track and monitor performance and outcomes: assist in development of quality assurance outcomes and performance standards related to eligibility; assist in developing quality assurance outcome reports and tracking mechanisms; provide quality data based on case reads and analysis and enters into tracking system.
- Education:
High School, GED - Licensing & Certification:
Valid Driver's License - Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State. - Minimum Qualifications:
Six months experience in processing Family Medical & or Elderly Disabled Medical Claims. Education may be submitted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. - Preferred Qualifications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access;
Proofreading, editing, attention to detail;
Attention to detail;
Organizational skills;
Ability to write clear instructions;
Analytical skills;
Experience using the Kansas Eligibility and Enforcement System;
Experience in processing Eligibility for medical programs. - Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements:
Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate is required; details are provided by the Kansas Department of Revenue and must be obtained within ten (10) days of the job offer.
