R&D Quality Leader at GE Vernova About the role

The R&D Quality Leader will oversee the comprehensive quality assurance processes within the R&D department. This position focuses on enhancing product design quality and improving New Product Introduction (NPI) processes by implementing modern tools and techniques for GE Vernova's software-driven industrial and energy solutions.

What you'll do
  • Direct quality assurance efforts for the R&D organization, ensuring high standards in product design and development.
  • Spearhead improvements in the NPI process with an emphasis on validation and verification practices.
  • Foster the use of advanced methodologies and tools to enhance product quality in both hardware and software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management within an R&D environment.
  • Proven expertise in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, particularly in validation and verification.
  • Strong background in hardware and software development for critical infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to have
  • Experience with software-enabled technologies in the industrial or energy sectors.
  • Familiarity with contemporary quality management systems and methodologies.
Skills & tools
  • Proficient in quality assurance tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to product development and quality management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
