* The Role:

Lab Analyst I (*
* ** On-Site) - Tuesday - Saturday 10am-7pm*
* The Lab Analyst position is part of the operational team within the bioanalytical laboratory. They ensure the appropriate development, validation and use of analytical methods. Some of the daily tasks may involve maintenance of equipment, calibration, processing samples and injecting on instruments. This role is also a part of a team responsible for quality control within the laboratory processes and supporting the reporting of data from the studies.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Routine sample processing with different techniques

+ Interpreting and data processing/reporting results and approve or reject sample analysis

+ Identifying deviations and performing investigation under supervision of a lab analyst level 3 or higher

+ Performs (peer) data review for quality control

+ Has a thorough understanding and complies with GxP and other appropriate regulations

+ Identifies and reports irregularities identified with any aspects of work

+ Economically utilizes materials in operation of daily tasks

+ Ensures on-time task completion to support the overall goal of on-time study completion

+ Assists in the organization and housekeeping of the laboratory

+ In study planning (daily basis)

+ Understands the scientific principles behind analysis methods utilized

** Additional responsibilities based on experience:*
* + Comprehensive sample processing with different techniques

+ Instrument management and troubleshooting (documentation, maintenance and calibration)

+ Takes initiative in process development and writes SOP's and work instruction

+ Solving problems in the analysis process

+ Preserving overview of method validation/development and analysis of a single project

+ Keeps current and seeks to grow knowledge in analysis field through scientific journals, training, on-line study, etc.

** To be successful in the role, you will have:*
* + Good knowledge of Bioanalytical Laboratory processes.

+ Be very detail-oriented and with few mistakes even when performing routine or repetitive tasks.

+ Will apply process and systems to routine sample processing and instrumental analysis.

+ Demonstrate application of quality work in routine analytical skills.

+ A Laboratory Education and a Science Degree.

+ Good Laboratory Skills required, good understanding of basic processes in analytical sample analysis preferred

+ Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment (GxP) handling biological samples highly preferred.
