Child Nutrition Operator
SummaryServes the students attractive and nutritious meals in an efficient, clean, warm atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists in the preparation and serving of food in a quick and pleasant manner.
- Assumes responsibility for making sure that the supply of food is replenished regularly.
- Assists in the daily cleaning of the kitchen and service areas.
- Performs major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the lunchroom manager.
- Assumes responsibility for storage and disposal of unused foods.
- Demonstrates willingness to learn various jobs in the lunchroom and attends inservice programs.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED and one year experience in cafeteria or restaurant work. Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of the tasks assigned.
