PRN: Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring residents receive nutritious, delicious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. This team member supports the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, serving food, cleaning, and maintaining proper sanitation standards.

• Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications
• Set up dining areas and deliver trays or meals to residents as needed
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment; maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures
• Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored
• Provide excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with residents
• Support the dietary team in daily kitchen operations and tasks as assigned
• Report any resident concerns or dietary issues to the supervisor promptly
• Meet PRN Hours requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
