Full‑Time.
Primary focus is performing duties in a manufacturing environment, within Distribution and Inventory areas. All duties shall be performed according to established standards and in compliance with company and governing policies. Regular, prompt attendance and availability for overtime when needed are required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Distribution
- Frame Receiving:
Match and verify incoming frame to the work order awaiting the frame’s arrival. - Frame Tracing:
Remove lenses from frames, operate tracing machines, mark lenses for axis orientation, and calibrate tracing machines. - Frame Management:
Match frames and lenses to ensure timely launch and prioritization of product. - Shipping:
Scan trays to prepare invoices, match invoices numerically to tray number, wrap finished jobs while sorting numerically by account number, and secure boxes with appropriate labels for shipping.

- Inventory
- Lens Receiving:
Put lenses in correct inventory locations and rotate stock. - Lens Pick:
Pick appropriate lenses from shelves and use the work ticket to verify that the lens pulled is correct for the job. - Lens Ordering:
Manage lenses, create lens orders to send to suppliers, and assist customer service with lens availability. - Outsourcing:
Perform necessary steps to send or receive lens orders in the Essilor Luxottica lab network.
- Lens Receiving:
- Able to work in a fast‑paced production environment and regularly work with and communicate with others in a team.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence in English.
- Basic ability to add, subtract, understand decimal numerical sequencing, and accurately compare number and letter sequences.
- Requires use of close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Capable of coordinated use of hands and fingers to grasp, feel objects, transfer small items from one hand to another, fine manipulation, and bilateral reach with arms.
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement/interpet goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the organization, multi‑task, prioritize, and use good judgement.
- Able to stand in one place for 8 or more hours a day.
- Capable of completing activities that include repetitive motions.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Previous related experience and/or training.
Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. Additional compensation may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
