Responsibilities

  • Be a Team Member:
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with the team; be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas.
  • Be an Expert:
    Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie:
    Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner:
    Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador:
    Advocate the brand; develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training them.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; apply the Open Door Policy and these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Food Safety Certification.
  • Food Service certification.
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
