Position Summary

Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, and offering guidance and support regarding self‑service technology. Assists members with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, resolves member issues and concerns, and promotes the company's products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist management in supervising associates by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, and providing guidance on member service approaches.
  • Resolve member complaints and issues in accordance with company guidelines and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support the Open Door Policy and participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates.
  • Receive, stock, and organize supplies and merchandise; maintain the sales floor using equipment, merchandising, and proper documentation.
  • Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift, spotting, and hazardous material handling procedures, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
  • Ensure sales floor and merchandise presentation comply with company policies; handle claims and returns, zone the area, stock, arrange, and organize merchandise; set up displays and remove damaged goods; sign and price merchandise.
  • Monitor product quality, including rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; keep merchandising area categories, stocking zones, and cleaning of all departments.
  • Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders according to policy, ensuring products are selected and staged correctly.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information from multiple sources, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; correct ethical and compliance issues; assist management with problem resolution.
  • Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources, information, and tools; determine customer needs and business priorities; coordinate and execute work assignments; provide advice, feedback, and support to meet timelines and quality.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 6 months of retail experience.
  • 6 months of customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
