Baker and Packager Associate

Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicates with team members; and adapts to the needs of the business;
Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; follows recipes; wraps, labels, and stores merchandise; ensures food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management;
Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality;
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area; ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored;
Acts as a Talent Ambassador by modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work; upholds Open Door Policy and company standards; communicates progress and information; collaborates with managers and other stakeholders.
