Position Summary
Provide member service, maintain checkout and entrance areas, resolve member issues, promote Sam's Club products and services, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, conduct safety sweeps, and maintain a safe shopping environment.
What you’ll do- Provide member service and support regarding self‑service technology.
- Process member purchases and assist with payments, returns, refunds and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain checkout, entrance and exit areas, ensuring the correct handling of merchandise and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Verify membership cards, identify member needs, and assist with purchasing decisions and merchandise location.
- Zone and organize merchandise, assist members with transporting items, and maintain a safe shopping environment.
- Review member receipts, maintain secure paperwork, logs and documentation, and execute emergency response procedures.
- Apply company security and safety practices, observe and report potential criminal activity, and secure assets and property.
- Train new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, technology, and new programs.
- Identify shrink and damages, and maintain returns handling procedures.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics, integrity and open‑door communication.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers and business partners to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate progress.
- Adapt to change, learn from feedback, and recommend improvements.
- Retail experience operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
