Salary: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour*

As a freezer, cooler and deli associate, you won’t just keep shelves stocked—you’ll play an important role in maintaining the operations and sanitary conditions of our freezers and coolers that keep our product ready for members. In the deli department you’ll be on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good and a great shopping experience.

Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; applying the Company steel standard guidelines; and reporting unsafe situations to Management.

Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Handle claims and returns; zone the area; receive and stock merchandise; set up, clean, and organize product displays; remove damaged goods; sign and price merchandise appropriately; complete required audits, paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.

Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; locating merchandise and assisting with purchasing decisions; providing deli products to members; resolving issues and concerns; and promoting the Company's products and services.

Follow Company policies and procedures related to the Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures when stocking merchandise; cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area (including windows, mirrors, display cases and coolers); monitoring freezer/cooler fans, drains, and doors for proper operation; and reporting issues to Management.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
