Position Summary

  • The Inside Sales Coordinator reports to the Manager of Customer & Sales Support

The Inside Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the inside sales team by managing sales‑related tasks and activities. This position requires someone with experience in sales coordination or a related field, who possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused mindset. The Inside Sales Coordinator will collaborate closely with the sales team to streamline processes, enhance customer relationships, and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement — Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing product information, pricing, and assistance with order placement.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and addressing customer needs and concerns effectively.
  • Sales Support — Assist the sales team with order processing, including entering orders into the system, coordinating shipments, and managing delivery schedules.
  • Prepare sales quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission to customers.
  • Lead Management — Manage inbound leads and inquiries, qualify leads based on predefined criteria and distribute them to the appropriate sales representatives.
  • Follow up with leads to assess interest, provide information, and schedule sales appointments or demonstrations as needed.
  • Data Management — Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order status in the CRM system.
  • Generate reports and analyze sales data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and evaluate sales effectiveness.
  • Collaboration And Communication — Regularly communicate with sales representatives to provide updates on customer inquiries, orders, and opportunities.
  • Problem-Solving And Resolution — Address customer issues promptly, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Competencies — Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; customer‑focused mindset; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze sales data; team player; adaptability.
  • Qualifications & Experience — Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience; 1–2 years in sales coordination or related field; prior CRM and order management experience preferred; ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment; ability to pass a background check post‑offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is a general guideline. Pay will reflect the candidate’s qualifications and may be higher or lower based on location, responsibilities, education, experience, and other factors. This role is eligible for Tri Mark’s benefits programs; leadership roles may qualify for bonus programs.
