Under the direction of the Commercial Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining company relationships with our channel partners. As an RSM, you will facilitate and manage the growth and profitable sales of our Commercial Ventilation Solutions within an assigned territory. You will be part of the North American sales team, with an emphasis in U.S. & Canada.
As part of this team, you will develop strong relationships with our external business partners, manufacturer representatives, specifying engineers and design consultants, to secure basis of design, enhance market presence and expand sales.
This role demands a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and strategic planning skills. We are looking to promote or hire a Regional Sales Manager that shares our ambition to achieve our four Key Outcomes:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with manufacture representatives and key customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Create and implement 90 Day Rep Sales Strategy and Line Card Market Intelligence activities to support marketing plan.
- Establishes and implements plans and strategies to expand the customer base in assigned areas.
- Assists in the development of sales plans, strategies, objectives, policies and work procedures in accordance with company’s sales goal and profitability margins.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Provides timely feedback to Sales Director regarding sales performance for assigned area.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect application submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports using Systemair Tools and Systems.
- Creates and conducts presentations and training on product, market, competitors and software.
- Analyzes customer needs and provides feedback to Sales Director, and Facility Management.
- Provides company representation at Trade show exhibitions, events, etc.
- Negotiates price, delivery and specifications with customers and provides timely/relevant information to facility management.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Fosters cooperation and teamwork within/between North American facilities.
- Maintains effective budgetary controls of sales expenses.
- The following are education and experience criteria used to evaluate the suitability of the Regional Sales Manager-Commercial Profile or candidates for the position:
- BESc in Mechanical Engineering required. However, 10 plus year equivalent work experience in applied HVAC Engineering will be considered. Professional Engineering certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in commercial HVAC equipment sales and a working knowledge of psychrometrics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics as it applies to air handlers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
