Job Summary

Ryder invites driven individuals to join as Rental Sales Management Trainees at our Lenexa, KS location. The program is designed to launch a career in sales, operations, or management within 18-24 months, with the possibility of completion in as little as 12 months. Trainees receive hands‑on experience, rotational responsibilities, and compensation that includes a $2,000 sign‑on bonus and a potential annual bonus or commission.

The role supports location and regional management through operational and administrative tasks.

Essential Functions
  • Handle inbound sales calls and outbound solicitation.
  • Maintain accurate data in the marketing database.
  • Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
  • Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
  • Achieve market share goals by executing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the customer base.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Voluntarily serve as an On‑Call Representative as scheduled by supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Willingness to relocate within the region or to the US upon program completion.
  • Computer literacy at an intermediate level.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (business administration or a similar field).
  • At least one year of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
  • Intermediate computer literacy required.
Compensation

Salary: $55,000 annually. Sign‑on Bonus: $2,000. Eligible for annual bonus, commission, and long‑term incentive plans based on performance.
