Position OverviewWe are seeking energetic, self-motivated, and result-oriented Field Sales Executives to drive farmer and producer onboarding across villages. The role requires extensive field travel, direct interaction with farmers, producer groups, cooperatives, and rural communities, and building strong relationships to expand platform adoption.
Key Responsibilities Farmer & Producer Outreach- Visit assigned villages daily and meet farmers, producers, FPOs, cooperatives, and agri-input dealers.
- Introduce and explain the benefits of the company's platform and services.
- Conduct one-on-one farmer meetings and village-level awareness campaigns.
- Generate leads and onboard new farmers and producers onto the platform.
- Assist farmers in completing registration and profile creation.
- Collect accurate farmer, crop, livestock, and production-related information.
- Ensure proper documentation and verification of farmer records.
- Update field activities and farmer data in the mobile application/CRM system.
- Develop long-term relationships with farmers and producer communities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for platform users in assigned territories.
- Resolve basic farmer queries and coordinate with support teams when required.
- Maintain regular engagement with registered farmers to increase platform usage.
- Identify new villages, farmer clusters, FPOs, and producer groups for expansion.
- Conduct demonstrations, meetings, and awareness programs.
- Collaborate with village leaders, agriculture officers, and local influencers.
- Promote platform services, products, schemes, and market linkage opportunities.
- Achieve monthly onboarding and activation targets.
- Submit daily visit reports and activity updates.
- Track farmer engagement and adoption metrics.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights from the field.
- Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate (Agriculture, Rural Development, Business, or related fields preferred).
- 13 years of field sales, rural marketing, agri-input sales, microfinance, telecom, or FMCG experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to travel may also apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with farmers and rural communities.
- Basic smartphone and mobile application usage.
- Local language proficiency is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Problem-solving and relationship-management skills.
- Extensive travel across villages and rural markets.
- Own two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
- Comfortable working in field conditions.
- Willingness to cover assigned territories on a daily basis.
- Number of villages covered per month.
- Number of farmers/producers onboarded.
- Active farmer engagement rate.
- Farmer retention and platform usage.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
- Quality and accuracy of farmer data collected.
