Area Business Manager, Pulmonology, Dayton, OH

Location:

Remote, US

The Area Business Manager (ABM) will engage Pulmonologists and other key customers within the assigned geography to promote the asthma and COPD indications, delivering brand share and revenue goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Engage pulmonary customers within the assigned geographical territory and deliver clinically focused messages to introduce, launch, grow brand share and revenue and consistently meet product goals for the asthma and COPD indication.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other key field‑based stakeholders such as Regeneron Sales Professionals, Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement and Market Access teammates, Thought Leader Liaisons, and others to address customer needs and identify market dynamics.
  • Develop strong working relationships with pulmonary experts, biological coordinators, office staff, and other healthcare personnel, including patient advocacy groups, as directed.
  • Drive results by identifying key opportunities and developing strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business.
  • Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
  • Maximize the allocated budget to support strategy execution and business growth.
  • Participate in industry‑related congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences.
  • Own business opportunities within the geographic area, coordinating large group practices and key targets to drive product results.
  • Establish relationships with thought leaders in the assigned territory.
  • Drive industry‑leading customer value as the primary objective.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.
  • At least 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product information.
  • Experience working with specialty pharmacies or hubs.
  • Willingness to travel to meetings, training, and programs as necessary with additional travel within the assigned territory.
  • Track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with a high degree of integrity and compliance.
  • Team‑player orientation to collaborate with partners and colleagues to reach common goals.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years selling sub‑cutaneous self‑injectable (or office‑administered IV) biologics.
  • Two years selling in pulmonary disease or other immunology disorders such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, or ulcerative colitis.
  • Two years calling on pulmonologists.
  • Co‑promotion experience.
  • Advanced clinically based selling skills.
  • Results‑oriented with proven success in product launches.
  • Experience in in‑servicing and training office staff, nurses, and office managers.
  • Strong passion for learning science and proactive in strengthening disease‑state knowledge and healthcare trends.
  • Highly organized with strong account management skills.
