Security Officer Access Point Coordinator

Security Officer Access Point Coordinator in Lenexa, KS is a Part‑Time position. In this role you will help manage access control, monitor site activity, and support security‑related operations with professionalism and care. The schedule is Monday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Wednesday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Thursday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security‑related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or visitor documentation, and help deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, trailer areas, and/or other restricted locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting security‑related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and/or loading and shipping zones, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitors, deliveries, vehicle activity, and/or access control events while following Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
