  • Allstates Consulting Services is looking for Low Voltage Cable Technician to work in Industrial and Heavy Commercial Environments at various locations in the US.
  • You need to have a Background in installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems.
  • Data Cable Technician with CAT6 cabling & fiber optic.
  • Knowledge and experience with CCTV, Security Systems, and Alarm Systems is a plus.
  • Industry-specific certifications are a huge plus (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA). Please list certifications if any.
  • Available and willing for extensive travel, road warrior.
  • Flexible and willing to work on-call, day, night, weekend, or overtime shifts as the job requires.
  • Experience reading blueprints and site maps.
  • Knowledgeable in multiple termination types for multi-mode and single-mode fibers.
  • Knowledgeable in closeouts and MDFs.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces.
  • Ability to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heights 40 plus feet.
  • Must have basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of cabling infrastructure.
  • Highly proficient with the use of smartphones and computers including email.
  • Has PPE, basic telecommunication tools, and all industry-associated hand tools.
  • Comfortable working unsupervised and with teams of 4 to 20 other technicians.
  • Valid driver s license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years and reliable transportation. (Fleet Vehicles would be provided eventually)*
  • Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.
  • Troubleshoot issues with cable networks to ensure the proper functioning and to ensure the system meets local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.
  • Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by our customer, and OSHA.
  • Provide regular updates to Project Management on project status and current objectives.
  • +++ Experience in conduit, EMT, Ridged, SS and Alum.
