Finish Carpenter
We are seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. You will be working in crews of 3 to 10 on small to mid-sized commercial projects. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience, strong attention to detail, proficiency with doors and hardware, and a thorough understanding of safety protocols, including OSHA standards.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively within a team of 3-10 on various commercial projects.
- Adapt to non-climate-controlled environments to complete tasks.
- Install doors and hardware with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute project specifications.
- Perform woodworking, including trim, molding, and cabinetry installation.
- Prepare surfaces and apply finishing touches.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- 3+ years of experience in finish carpentry.
- Proficiency in door and hardware installation.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in commercial carpentry.
- Experience in woodworking, trim, molding, and cabinetry installation.
- Skilled in surface preparation and finishing.
- Familiarity with construction, drywall, and concrete.
- Experience using hand and power tools.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves small to mid-sized commercial projects, with team sizes ranging from 3 to 10 employees. The self-perform team currently consists of 27 employees. Note that the work environment is not climate controlled. Work hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with a typical workweek of 42-43 hours.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
