Lineage is looking for a Field Technician to join our growing service team. This is an entry-level field service position where you'll receive hands‑on training and work alongside experienced technicians while developing valuable skills in equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service.
You'll work with a variety of office mailing and document handling equipment, including mail machines, folder/inserters, letter openers, shredders, printers, and related systems and software.

What You'll Learn & Do
As a Field Technician, you'll begin by learning from experienced technicians and progressively take on more responsibility as your technical skills grow.
Hands-On Technical Service- Shadow experienced technicians and learn equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
- Perform basic equipment setup and preventive maintenance.
- Install, service, and maintain standard mailing and document handling equipment as your skills develop.
- Learn to diagnose and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues.
- Maintain assigned tools and parts inventory in an organized and secure manner.
- Participate in product training and certification programs.
- Learn Lineage equipment, systems, software, and service procedures.
- Provide basic technical support to customers and end-users.
- Train customers on the proper operation and functionality of equipment.
- Provide phone-based troubleshooting assistance when needed.
- Develop your ability to identify problems and determine appropriate solutions.
You'll represent Lineage directly at customer locations, making your customer‑service skills just as important as your technical skills.
- Communicate with customers to understand equipment issues and service needs.
- Provide timely, professional, and courteous service.
- Explain equipment operation and basic troubleshooting to customers.
- Build positive customer relationships through dependable service and follow‑through.
- Maintain a professional, customer‑first attitude during every service call.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including call notes, installation reports, maintenance records, and repair reports.
- Meet established company standards for efficiency, productivity, and service performance.
- Follow company procedures and operational standards.
- Follow all applicable USPS regulations and company safety policies when working on customer sites.
