Position: Software Engineer - Frontend

Location: 15365 W 95th Street, Lenexa, KS66219

• Develop web-based applications.
• Work closely with the UX designer to review application mockups before the frontend UI design.
• Design and code the frontend UI part of the web-based application and review other frontend developers’ code.
• Work closely with other frontend and backend developers to build web-based applications and discuss design systems and technical design patterns.
• Collaborate with project management teams and stakeholders to define objectives.
• Investigate integrating Tailwind CSS with existing design patterns.
• Work closely with QA team to design automated unit and integration tests.
• Proactively engage in regular project team meetings including Daily scrum, Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, Sprint demos, and Process Improvement (PI) planning.

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related IT field.
• Must have 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related IT role.
• The 3 years of experience must include experience with:
  React;
  Type Script JavaScript ES6+; modern frontend frameworks;
  Agile development methodologies;
  Git; CI/CD pipelines; CSS/SCSS; and developing modern UIs.
• Telecommuting permitted 3 days per week within the same geographic location as the assigned office location.
