Job Summary
We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Route Driver – Micromarket position. The Route Driver operates a company vehicle on an established route to deliver products, maintain and service micro markets, and provide excellent customer service.
LocationCanteen – 9771 Commerce Parkway, Lenexa, KS 66219.
ScheduleFull‑time, Monday through Friday day shift. Weekends and holidays as needed.
PayHourly rate $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, with potential for commission and bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities- Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment.
- Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment.
- Ensure truck is loaded properly before each route and follow operational procedures.
- Inform clients of new products or services, listen to and resolve complaints.
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sale promotion materials.
- Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product.
- Conduct inventory reconciliation per district procedures.
- Maintain company vehicle clean, perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
- Perform all job functions safely and professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience, route delivery or DSD experience preferred.
- Valid Class C driver’s license (non‑CDL). Must be able to operate company vehicles safely.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
- Willingness to learn or operate material handling equipment.
- Works independently, responsible for route; unsupervised 98 % of the time.
- Preferred 1–2 years customer service experience or related experience.
