For the U.S. Marshals you will monitor aircraft maintenance and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery. Perform Pre‑Post‑ and In‑Flight inspections, adjustments, and minor repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of aircraft. Day Shift: 0500 - 1400, but may vary due to arrival and departure times.
Monday through Friday, with some weekend requirements.
- Predeparture and daily inspections of aircraft.
- Launch and recovery of USMS aircraft.
- Pireps Log Book items.
- Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
- Perform heavy maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
- Perform any type of aircraft rigging.
- Use FAA approved data i.e. IPC, M M, OHM, SRM proficiently.
- Effectively interact with customer representatives.
- Must be comfortable exercising the full privilege of A&P license.
- Inspect aircraft prior to takeoff for defects, such as fuel or oil leaks or malfunctions in electrical, hydraulic, or pressurization systems, according to preflight checklist.
- May perform repairs upon completion of flight.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years related aviation / aircraft experience and/or training.
- Must have an airframe and powerplant (A&P) license.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active Security Clearance a plus.
Constantly:
Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.
