Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Time Shipping and Receiving Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Lenexa, KS. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented candidate who enjoys hands‑on warehouse fulfillment, shipping accuracy, inventory organization, and customer interaction. This position supports a growing e‑commerce and retail operation launching a new storefront location. You will help ensure online orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly while also creating a positive experience for walk‑in customers.
The work environment is fast‑paced, team‑driven, and supportive, with consistent full‑time hours, stable scheduling, and the opportunity to build long‑term skills in shipping, receiving, fulfillment, inventory, and retail operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized while balancing warehouse tasks and customer service needs.
- Pick, pack, verify, and ship e‑commerce customer orders accurately using standard order management and shipping platforms.
- Generate shipping labels and prepare packages for daily carrier pickups, including USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL.
- Receive incoming freight, inspect products, label inventory, and assist with stock counts and cycle counts.
- Assist walk‑in customers, answer product questions, and process transactions using a retail POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse fulfillment area and retail sales floor.
- Support merchandising, product displays, and general operational needs as daily order volume changes.
