1st shift, Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm
CompensationThe compensation range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 hourly. This position is eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay offered will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity.
Responsibilities- Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability. Receive and unpack materials and supplies. Report damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping purposes. Serve as primary contact for shipping and receiving. Complete shipping and receiving reports. Contribute to company quality and service commitments within shipping and receiving under general direction.
- Maintain vendor and internal department relationships to ensure communication of shipping and mailing issues.
- Operate shipping equipment (e.g., UPS) and prepare packages for pickup.
- Complete mailing paperwork, quality control, and manage mailing jobs; ship customer proofs.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies; complete cycle counts and replenishments.
- Deliver or route items to departments or delivery locations; may deliver roll stock to presses.
- Process required customer returns and coordinate inter-plant returns of product or equipment.
- Resolve tasks and respond to notes assigned to shipping (e.g., freight quotes, split ship requests, special handling) in a timely manner and document steps.
- Work with computer programs such as SAP, WM, Lotus Notes, Excel, RF devices, Scanners, DSI, and Keywill; enter tracking numbers and proofs as needed.
- Safely operate pallet jack, forklift, and other equipment; perform related duties.
- Complete end-of-day transactions in Ship It and Keywill.
Education and Experience:
HS/GED plus 1 year of inventory control or cycle counting experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with SAP at intermediate to advanced level. Experience with life equipment (e.g., Reach Lift, Order Picker, electric pallet jack, and counterbalance).
Preferred QualificationsEducation and Experience:
HS/GED plus 2 years of inventory control or cycle counting experience. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow directions. Ability to compare and verify paper documents to system records and physical product.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
