Patient Service Rep - UT Primary Care Lenoir

Overview

University Physicians’ Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Patient Service Representative (PSR) position located at UT PRIMARY CARE LENOIR CITY. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines in a very fast-paced office.

• Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensure that patients complete necessary forms required for the electronic health record and billing office.
• Maintain patient demographic and insurance information; verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Ensure good patient flow through practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at front office.
• Answer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questions.
• Refer patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to medical assistant or physician.
• Schedule patients with appropriate physician.
• Document scanning into electronic health record.
• Other duties as assigned.
