This position is for a part-time, fully remote, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR role as a CRM (Hub Spot) Client Data Manager.
The role involves managing and maintaining the Hub Spot Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate client data and facilitating efficient use of the system. Responsibilities include analyzing and organizing data, generating reports, supporting sales teams, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize customer data management. The role also involves providing sales support for CRM troubleshooting.
Key ResponsibilitiesCRM (Hub Spot) Data Governance + Hygiene
· Maintenance of the primary marketing and sales contact list (List
A), which contains key clients (dealers, designers, purchasing agents, and others) through:
Data Auditing:
Analyze the database for duplicates, missing info, and inconsistencies.
Deduplication:
Merge or remove duplicate contact/company records.
Standardization:
Format data such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and job titles
Data Cleansing:
Correct misspellings, invalid entries, and incomplete fields (e.g., job titles, industries).
Field Management:
Optimize custom fields, remove unused ones, and suggest new field architecture
List & Workflow Management:
Refine segments and repair automation workflows impacted by insufficient data.
· Create and maintain SOP’s for CRM (Hub Spot) data entry and maintenance
· Improve long-term governance and usability
· Work with the Director of Digital Strategy and our Hub Spot administrator on sales and marketing specific initiatives, strategies, and best practices to improve the Hub Spot experience internally
· Contact Reps:
Meet with sales reps and sales managers regularly to support CRM (Hub Spot) accuracy
· Follow up on record updates and data gaps
· Provide training for new sales reps on Hub Spot contact management
· Act as liaison between sales teams and internal technical stakeholders
· Attend Neo Con for in-person rep meetings and data validation
Client Contact Management- Communicate with dealer, designer, and purchasing contacts
- Maintain accurate account hierarchies and decision-maker data
- Data enrichment and validation platforms
- Deduplication and automation tools
- AI-assisted data hygiene and enrichment workflows
- Excel / CSV import management
- Custom reports and dashboards
- Experience with Hub Spot CRM or other comparable CRM platforms preferred
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel and other data analysis platforms (a plus)
- Experience supporting sales teams and field reps (a plus)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various sales managers and teams
- Project Management skills to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure successful implementation
