Traffic Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time, M-F 8:00a.m.

-4:30p.m.

Location: Lenoir NC, Central Warehouse

• Work with domestic transportation providers on a daily basis to execute the required shipment plan.
• Update and maintain Transportation Reports.
• Review current transport processes and when necessary, suggest process improvements.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Provide quotes and handle booking requests for all transactional customers.
• Monitoring and tracking transportation shipments from inception to final delivery.
• Maintaining relationships established with carriers to ensure capacity and monitor service standards.
• Communicating effectively with customers, carriers, and teammates.
• Using professional judgment to assess the impact of tactical decisions/actions on the customer.
• Balancing the customers' needs with our company's profitability.
• Developing standard operating procedures based on the direction from manager.

• Excellent Communication skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Programs
• Proficiency in Adobe
• Understanding of Financial and Operational Process Flows Teamwork and participation

• Ability to critically think independently
• 3+ years in operations roll
• Process documentation experience
• Ability to prepare reporting and report to company officers
• Ability to analyze and communicate risks and errors
• Ability to recommend financial actions
• Experience in Share Point
