Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lenoir, NC, for a Safety & Compliance Trucking Manager. The role entails overseeing safety and compliance programs related to trucking operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and developing and implementing safety protocols. Responsibilities also include training team members, conducting accident investigations, and maintaining Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards within the trucking department.

The manager will work closely with operations teams to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards within the trucking department

Qualifications
  • Regulatory Compliance and Safety Compliance expertise
  • Proficiency in training and leading safety programs
  • Experience in accident investigation and reporting
  • Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively manage a team
  • Familiarity with federal and state transportation safety regulations
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics or trucking industry is preferred
