Production Supervisor
Purpose and Scope / General
Summary:
We are actively seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to lead production activities at our Lenoir facility. This role is responsible for supervising day‑to‑day operations on the production floor to maximize productivity in a cost‑effective manner while ensuring product quality meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be a hands‑on leader who enforces procedures, supports continuous improvement, and builds a culture of safety and accountability.

Primary Responsibilities- Provide clear leadership, guidance, and day‑to‑day direction to production floor staff.
- Set expectations, plan and monitor work, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and discipline as needed.
- Collaborate with HR and Safety to develop and maintain training curriculum, ensuring employees are competent and safe.
- Assign daily tasks, coordinate workflow, and ensure material handlers supply stations promptly.
- Monitor production for throughput, quality, and compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; enforce ISO and OSHA requirements.
- Investigate accidents, manage corrective actions, and drive preventative measures.
- Lead improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Manage shift schedules, enforce start/break/stop times, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Participate in production meetings and provide regular performance reports to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support an efficient operation.
- 1‑2 years of proven supervisory experience in the beef or pork industry preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual skills are advantageous.
- Strong conflict resolution and organizational abilities; computer competency required.
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week when required; consistent attendance and good safety record expected.
- Must be able to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation; travel between facilities may be required.

- Base salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annually.
- Incentive Pay: Eligible for quarterly bonus plan under standard program terms.
- Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision after 60 days; PTO including sick leave, vacation and 6 company‑observed holidays.

Working Conditions- Production and maintenance floor environment with exposure to machinery, knives, chemicals, slippery surfaces, loud noise and extreme cold temperatures.
