** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Make patterns and mock-up sample frames for New Product Development (NPD).
* Develop samples as well as production pieces with high attention to detail
* Produce high quality samples, built on time, using the best construction methods
* Make improvement accommodations for current upholstery
* Must be able to upholster, trim, complete skirt detail, make cutting patterns, and develop poly patterns
* Assist in documenting spec sheets for parts and materials (springs, webbing, poly, etc.)
* Generate products and services from inception to commercialization for customers
* Work closely with manager to develop prototypes for products.## Qualifications

* Must be able to read details or CAD drawings.
* Train associates on how to build new styles when going into production.
* Ability to follow documented procedures and standards

* Able to lift 70 pounds, occasionally
* Available to work weekends or overtime as needed
* Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
* Ability to work independently with little supervision
