** Job Summary
** The Fabric Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of fabric products to ensure they meet company quality standards, customer specifications. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product excellence and customer satisfaction.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Verify product dimensions, unpackage rolls and look for paperwork
* Shade match fabric to the swatch for color match
* Enter the fabric into the AS400 system, per paperwork that came with the fabric
* Inspect the rolls of fabric to look for flaws
* Stock fabric in designated shelves
* Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
* Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
* Keep warehouse clean and organized daily## Qualifications
** Required Qualifications
*** High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
* 2+ years of experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, upholstery, or quality control.
* Strong understanding of furniture construction methods and materials.
* Ability to read work orders.
* Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection procedures.
* Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
* Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
* Ability to lift and move furniture as required.
* Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
* Experience using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, levels).
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work under deadlines in a production environment.
** Work Environment
*** Manufacturing or warehouse setting.
* Exposure to finishes, adhesives, and upholstery materials.
* Standing for extended periods and handling large pieces of furniture.
* Lifting up to 60 pounds
