Location: Lenoir, NC
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays as needed
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join a furniture manufacturing team in Lenoir, NC. This position offers the opportunity to work in various areas of the production process, supporting the creation of high-quality upholstered and wood furniture products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous furniture, woodworking, assembly, upholstery, sanding, finishing, or general production experience is a plus, but candidates with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Essential Responsibilities- Sand and prepare furniture components for finishing and assembly
- Assist with furniture assembly using hand and power tools
- Support upholstery, frame construction, finishing, and production processes
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions
- Move materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Maintain production goals while ensuring quality workmanship
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Cross-train in multiple departments as needed
- Previous manufacturing, furniture, woodworking, assembly, or production experience preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment
