Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol

Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Lenoir, NC – serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security‑related concerns, support site operations with strong customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

A valid driver’s license is required, including Class B with Passenger Endorsement.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thursday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by following security‑related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, and help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
• Support daily logistics operations by observing trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, parking locations, and high‑traffic zones for security‑related concerns and/or operational disruptions.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
