A-1 Termite and Pest Control, Inc., a family-owned Yuba City company, is seeking a Crawlspace Lead Technician to perform inspections, moisture control, and pest/rodent treatments in residential and light commercial crawlspaces. You'll lead small crews, install vapor barriers and related systems, document findings, and communicate solutions to customers. This field-based role requires physical work in confined spaces, safe equipment use, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead crawlspace moisture, pest, and damage inspections for residential and light commercial properties
- Install and repair vapor barriers, sump pumps, and other crawlspace moisture control systems
- Apply pest and rodent control treatments in accordance with safety and regulatory standards
- Document findings, create basic service reports, and communicate recommendations to customers
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle safely and efficiently
- Train and mentor helper/technician assistants in crawlspace procedures and safety practices
- Follow company safety protocols, including PPE use, ladder and confined space safety
- Coordinate with office staff to schedule jobs, confirm appointments, and close service tickets
- Provide professional, courteous on-site customer service and answer basic technical questions
- Identify opportunities to upsell or recommend additional pest and moisture control services
Required Skills
- Crawlspace inspection and assessment
- Moisture control and vapor barrier installation
- Basic carpentry/repair in crawlspaces
- Safe application of pest and rodent control products
- Confined space and ladder safety practices
- Use and maintenance of hand and power tools
- Reading and following service orders and treatment plans
