The Lenox Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional for Morris Elementary School.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to students with IEPs in general education and/or special education settings.
- Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior support plans as directed by special education staff.
- Assist in delivering academic, social, emotional, and behavioral interventions.
- Support students with communication needs, fine/gross motor needs, and daily living skills as required.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and families.
- Ability to build rapport with children and support diverse learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in an elementary or special education setting.
- Associates degree or higher, or completion of the Para Pro Assessment.
HOURS:
Approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
COMPENSATION: $21.00 - $25.50 per hour
