We are currently seeking a full-time Movement & Motivation Attendant (Fitness Attendant). The Miraval Movement & Motivation Attendant will provide reliable, operational support across all fitness, yoga, meditation, and Pilates classes. This role ensures studios are prepared before each session by setting up mats and props, arranging room layouts, adjusting lighting and environmental settings, and maintaining clean, safe spaces throughout the day.

Attendants manage transitions between classes, reset studios efficiently, and support providers with any setup, breakdown, or logistical needs while managing guest check in, guest requests, and overall guest support.

Essential Functions Include:
  • Prepare studios for each class by organizing mats, props, cushions, benches, blankets, and other room‑specific items according to modality requirements.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness , including wiping down equipment, sweeping floors, restocking supplies, and maintaining orderly storage areas.
  • Support class transitions by breaking down previous setups, resetting the room, and ensuring the next session begins on time.
  • Assist providers with operational needs such as room flow, equipment placement, environmental adjustments, and guest readiness.
  • Monitor the daily schedule to anticipate setup requirements, coordinate timing, and address any gaps or conflicts.
  • Greet and direct guests , help with check‑in procedures, answer questions, and ensure they find the correct studio or class location.
  • Respond to real‑time operational needs , including special requests from providers, last‑minute room changes, or guest concerns.
  • Support special projects within the department, such as inventory organization, space refreshes, and program‑related initiatives.
  • Consistently uphold Miraval's standards for guest engagement, professionalism, mindfulness, and environmental care.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and moving throughout studio spaces.
  • Ability to get up and down from the floor as needed to support class setup, equipment organization, and guest/provider needs.
  • Capable of setting up, cleaning, and resetting fitness, yoga, meditation, and Pilates equipment with care and consistency.
