SALARY: $961.54 per week ($50,000 annually), housing during relocation available

Position Summary

T he Company Manager leads efforts towards and collaborates with other staff members on the Company’s efforts to maintain a healthy ad supportive workplace for its employees. The Company Manager will coordinate employee contracts and weekly benefits reporting and distribution; travel; housing; local transportation; and other workplace needs. The Company Manager will be instrumental in developing and disseminating communications regarding the Company’s activities;

supporting others in the workplace and in their company housing; coordinating schedules; and supporting programs and events on site. the company Manager will provide support to Shakespeare & Company Performances, Education Programs, and Center for Actor Training Projects on a local, national, and international scale as needed.

  • Serve as the point-of-contact for all seasonal artists and staff (Performance, Education and Training programs) regarding Letters of Agreement, travel to / from Lenox, residence at S&Co, local transportation, benefits reporting, and required / desired communications with staff;
  • Maintain company housing at a comfortable and livable state through coordination of and sometimes assistance with housekeeping and maintenance efforts, ensuring all necessary furnishings and housewares are provided, creating and updating company housing assignments in order to provide maximum satisfaction in living situation and accommodate special needs;
  • Coordinate travel for arriving artists and staff including local transport / access to company vehicles as available and necessary, maintaining records of travel reimbursements and vehicle-use documents, assigning and tracking vehicle use, coordinating with Facilities on vehicle repair and maintenance;
  • Assist others with policy compliance efforts including communication and enforcement of policies, assisting with pre-employment and on-going employment requirements, and maintaining onsite way finding signage as necessary;
  • Coordinate housing rentals on and off-site;
  • Coordinate appointments, follow-ups and paperwork for any worker’s compensation related injuries;
  • Maintain hospitality budgets, produce company and staff events including some food preparation and service, and provide significant assistance on fund-raising events;
  • Participate in the identification of and administration of D.E.A. and other staff development training sessions for all employees;
  • Scheduling and supervising any Arts Administration Interns.
