Nurse Supervisor

Mount Carmel Care Center, a Catholic not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehab facility in North Adams, MA, seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead and support our nursing team. In this resident-centered role, you will oversee daily clinical operations, coordinate staffing, monitor care quality, and ensure regulatory compliance across long-term, short-term rehab, and memory care residents. You will provide clinical guidance, mentor staff, participate in care planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all within a warm, mission-driven environment grounded in dignity, respect, and holistic elder care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care
• Oversee daily clinical operations on assigned unit(s), including staffing and workflow
• Conduct resident assessments and participate in care planning and care conferences
• Monitor documentation, medication administration, and adherence to care protocols
• Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Respond to changes in resident condition and lead emergency responses as needed
• Promote a resident-centered, compassionate care environment aligned with Catholic values
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and best practices
• Assist with orientation and ongoing training of nursing staff
