Registered Nurse

Mount Carmel Care Center, a Catholic, not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehab facility in North Adams, MA, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide resident-centered care to older adults. In this role, you will complete assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor resident conditions. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, support CNAs, and foster trusting relationships with residents and families in a mission-driven, faith-informed, teamwork-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term, rehab, and memory care residents.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor resident conditions, document in EMR, and report changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, and families.
• Support residents' spiritual, emotional, and social needs in line with Catholic values.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other direct care staff.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Educate residents and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff development activities.
