ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:
- Performs general and preventative maintenance in hotel rooms, offices, common areas, locker rooms, spa/pool areas, gyms, and other designated areas. Scope includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, mechanical, fire/life safety, pool/water chemistry, tile/vinyl work, and other building trades.
- Diagnoses and repairs malfunctioning machinery, including laundry and commercial kitchen equipment. Replaces worn or defective parts such as motors, switches, pumps, belts, gears, blowers, and other components.
- Performs routine, ongoing preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and painting as needed, ensuring accurate and timely repairs.
- Oversees maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting projects, providing daily updates to supervisors and ensuring work is completed efficiently.
- Designs, constructs, repairs, and installs structures such as doors, walls, windows, shelves, wood trim, cabinets, and furniture. Assists in reconfiguring furniture, gym equipment, medical equipment, and other movable assets.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and maintain full compliance with safety and transportation standards.
- Bring 6–10 years of general maintenance experience, with preferred exposure to commercial facility operations and hands‑on work across multiple building trades.
- Demonstrate working proficiency in carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, roofing, and painting, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Possess or develop competency in pool and spa maintenance as well as gym equipment repair to support a safe and fully functional wellness environment.
- Uphold Canyon Ranch’s standards of excellence through strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Perform well under pressure with strong problem‑solving skills, the ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram‑based instructions, and a commitment to safety and independent productivity.

PAY RANGE: $29.00 - $30.16 / hour
